Table 1 The inclusion criteria for entrance to the study

Any gender

The localized and gneralized types of vitiligo with exception of segmental one (with involvement <20% of body surface)

Vitiligo duration less than 5 years

Negative history of systemic disorder

No pregnancy

Negative history of drug administration

Normal or low serum zinc

Normal other laboratory tests

Taking no zinc during 4 weeks prior to referring
